The zone of Judgement, or S2, in osteopathic practice is a significant area within the body that serves as a reservoir for emotions tied to self-guilt and self-judgment. Located on the left lower side of the chest, this zone corresponds to the anatomical structures such as the lower lobe of the left lung, the upper and lower left pulmonary veins, and the left mammary gland.
There can be few reasons why this zone is damaged:
1. The most common is - unbalanced zone sacrum (DU). So correction and healing of the zone S2 should always start with sacrum. Biological centering (DSV-system) gives specialists effective protocols to reach positive physical and mental changes in 4-5 sessions.
In this case, a sense of guilt will appear in all possible variations. Talking about communications, this feeling of guilt will attract manipulations especially among close relatives (I wrote more about "scapegoat" role below).
2. There is also an interesting pattern of damaged S2 among divorced women, who stayed with kids after divorce. Regardless of facts, what was the cause of separation, did she start a new relationship after or didn't- all divorced women feel guilt toward kids and have damaged zone Judgment. This fenomen affects women on a deep subconscious level, there is no way to resist this feeling of guilt. This guilt can foster an environment where children may display ingratitude or rudeness towards their caregivers, further compounding the parent's emotional burden. In such cases, therapeutic approaches like Biological Centering in osteopathy can provide significant relief, offering techniques to break free from the debilitating effects of guilt and emotional entrapment.
3. Another reason for a damaged Judgment zone has psychosomatic nature as well - the betrayal or death of the close friend, relative or partner.
Such a direct defeat of the zone Judgment affects the state of the health globally - problems can overtake any part of the body, but most likely it will defeat blood, heart and thyroid gland.
Moreover, the secondary damage associated with the S2 zone often pertains to the nuanced variations of guilt, which can create a psychological phenomenon known as the "guilt drive."
Individuals caught in this cycle frequently become targets for manipulative dynamics, particularly from those in their close circles. The S2 zone is intricately linked to ancient archetypes, such as the "Scapegoat," illustrating how external pressures often lead individuals to internalize blame unjustly.
In this web of emotional turmoil, the desire to please others can become an excessive and counterproductive effort, leaving individuals feeling powerless and trapped in a vicious cycle of guilt and conflict avoidance. When combined with other emotional zones like D2, associated with resentments, and DU, related to avoidance of confrontations, this situation creates an intricate tapestry of psychosomatic issues that necessitates a holistic approach for healing and resolution.
